Para Athletics
At City of Portsmouth Athletic Club, we are proud to be an inclusive environment, working hard to ensure that all athletes have the opportunity to train, compete, and thrive—whatever their situation.
We currently offer dedicated training for wheelchair racing and seated throws, providing specialist coaching and support to help para athletes develop their skills and reach their potential. Where practical and safe, we also welcome para athletes to join our other training groups, ensuring everyone has access to high-quality coaching and a supportive team environment.
If there is a discipline we do not currently offer or something you would like to see, we are always looking to expand and improve our para athletics provision. We are happy to discuss possibilities, though introducing new disciplines may depend on available coaching, equipment, and training requirements. Please get in touch—we would love to hear from you!
